Q1. Are veterinary graduates from outside Bihar eligible to apply?
Yes, Indian citizens holding a recognized B.V.Sc. degree can apply under the Unreserved (General) category, provided they hold permanent registration with the Bihar Veterinary Council
Q2. Is registration with the Bihar Veterinary Council mandatory at the time of application?
Yes, candidates must be permanently registered with the Bihar Veterinary Council on or before the application deadline (23.10.2026).
Q3. What is the selection criteria for BTSC TVO posts?
Selection is based on an objective Computer-Based Test (CBT) carrying 75% weightage and contractual work experience in Bihar Government projects/departments carrying up to 25% weightage. There is no interview.
Q4. Is there negative marking in the CBT?
Yes, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response marked in the 100-question computer-based examination.
