These are Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) posts in Level-6 of the 7th Central Pay Commission matrix. Candidates who wish to apply should do so as soon as possible.

One-Time Registration (OTR): Visit the new SSC portal and click Register Now. Fill in personal details, authenticate via Aadhaar or alternate ID, and set up your login credentials.Access Application Form: Log in to your account, select Live Examination, and click Apply under Junior Engineer Examination 2026 .Select Post & Educational Stream: Choose your educational qualification, highest degree, and opted subject paper (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Telecom/Physics/CS-IT).Select Exam Centres: Give three preferences for exam centres within the same regional jurisdiction.Capture Live Photo & Signature: Capture your live photograph using your webcam or the official app, and upload your signature (10–20 KB).Payment & Final Submit: Preview all entered information, accept the declaration, pay the Rs. 100 fee online (if applicable), and submit.
